Google doodle commemorates women's day, and chose to feature the world's most inspiring female figures according to the google doodle, as the background on its search front page, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
One of them is a French artist who was born 200 years ago. Rosa Bonheur, best known for her work as an animal painter and sculptor.
Rosa Bonheur was known in the 1840s, when her work was first exhibited at the Paris Salon which was quite famous in that era.
Experts believe that his 1849 exhibition entitled " Plowing in Nivernais " helped him first become recognized as a professional artist.
Rosa Bonheur's " The Horse Fair ," depicts a horse market in Paris. and it began to enjoy success and became so popular that it was exhibited at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art.
In 1865, Bonheur was awarded the Legion of Honor, one of the most prestigious awards in France.
The new Google Doodle celebrates its 200th birthday. by displaying an image of Rosa Bonheur on the search page with a cloud image as a background forming the word google.
